Privacy Notice

Effective October 21, 2026

This is the privacy policy for afhl.org, the website of Advocates for Healthy Living, Inc. It says what personal information we handle, why we handle it, and how to reach us.

Who we are

Advocates for Healthy Living, Inc. is a California nonprofit corporation in San Dimas. We operate the San Dimas Farmers Market and sell Farm to School produce to schools.

What this notice covers

It covers afhl.org and information you send us by email or phone about our programs. It does not cover other websites we link to. Those sites post their own policies. See also our Terms of Use.

Information we collect

This website has no accounts, no contact form, no newsletter signup, and no payment page. We collect personal information in these ways:

We do not collect student names, student identification numbers, or other student records through this website. Please do not send us that information.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

We do not use personal information to build advertising profiles.

Selling and advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads based on a person’s activity across different websites. We do not offer money or other incentives in exchange for personal information.

Service providers and other websites

These parties handle information because of how the site and our email work:

Loading a page on afhl.org does not contact an advertising network, an analytics service, or a social network. It does contact Vercel, which serves the page. Pages use fonts already on your device. We do not request fonts from Google or any other font service.

If you choose to leave this site, the next site may collect information under its own policy. We do not control that, and we do not load those sites inside our pages:

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. It does not use tracking pixels, advertising tags, analytics scripts, or browser storage such as local storage. The only script we serve opens and closes the menu on small screens. It does not save information on your device.

Because the site does not use non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie banner.

If you open Vimeo or the farmers market website, that site may set its own cookies after you arrive there.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Some browsers and extensions send the Global Privacy Control signal.

This site does not track you across other websites. There is no advertising or analytics tool here to switch off, so those signals do not change how the pages behave. We treat Global Privacy Control as a request that we not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We already do not do that.

Third parties do not collect information about your activity on afhl.org through our pages. A site we link to can collect information on its own site if you go there. That site decides whether it honors Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. Our Farm to School work is with schools and districts. We do not knowingly collect student personal information through afhl.org.

If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email info@afhl.org and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep email and order contacts for as long as we need them to reply, fulfill an order, and keep ordinary records of the nonprofit’s work. We do not keep a marketing list or an analytics database from this website. Vercel keeps host logs on its own schedule for hosting and security. We do not run a second archive of those logs.

If you ask us to delete information, we may still keep a short record of the request. We may also keep information we need for an open order, a legal duty, or basic accounting.

Security

We serve afhl.org over HTTPS. No email, phone call, or website is completely secure. Please do not email us Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive identifiers. We do not take payments on this website.

Review, correction, and deletion

Email info@afhl.org, call 626-593-9254, or write to PO Box 262, San Dimas, CA 91773. You can ask what we have from your emails, calls, or orders, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Tell us what you want us to do. We may ask for enough information to confirm we are writing with the right person. We will reply. We try to do that within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time or if we cannot do what you asked.

California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, generally applies to for-profit businesses that meet thresholds for revenue, the amount of personal information they handle, or selling personal information. It does not generally apply to nonprofit organizations. Advocates for Healthy Living, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation. We do not claim that this law applies to us.

If you are a California resident, you can still use the contact steps above to ask what personal information we have about you from this website, email, or phone, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, except records we still need for an order, a legal duty, or ordinary nonprofit accounting.

Asking will not change whether we can work with you on a program. We do not charge a different price, or offer a different level of service, because of a privacy request.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. We do not keep an email list for notice updates. The date under the title is how you can see that the notice changed.
